INSEMEX holde the presidency and the secretariat of Standardisation Technical Comittee TC 137, Electrical apparatus for potentially explosive atmosphere since 1974, and the presidency of Standardisation Technical Comittee TC 358 Civil use explosives, since 1999 and the presidency and secretariat for Standardisation Technical Comittee TC 295 - Mines, Geology.

It is also a member of Standardisation Technical Comittee TC 227 Personal protective equipments, TC 323 Environmental Management, CT 84 Conveyors and accessories, CT 175 Electrostatics, CT 332 Professional Training of adults.
